The pumpkins are out, and now the weather is finally following the calendar, with a chill in the air. Halloween and the holidays won’t be far behind. It still felt very summer-like for Fall Festival last week, however. But that didn’t keep the crowds away. Sweatshirts and flannel may have been replaced with shorts and t-shirts, but families still strolled Wyoming Avenue, lined with red and white booths, live music coming from the gazebo, and the aromas of grilled burgers from Wyoming Meat Market filling the air. It was unmistakably autumn in Wyoming. Don’t forget pumpkins will be on sale through Halloween at Friendship United Methodist Church.
