The Junior Women’s Club of Wyoming (JWC) will hold an online poker fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in lieu of their annual Charity Euchre Tournament. They’re hoping to raise funds for the community in a new, fun way.

This year’s poker tournament will be one of the primary fundraisers for the JWC. Every year, the club supports a variety of organizations and causes by dispensing grants from the Junior Women’s Club of Wyoming Foundation. Prior grant recipients have included Wyoming City Schools, Our Daily Bread, and Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center.

Additionally, residents living in Wyoming, Hartwell, Valleydale, Woodlawn, Reading, Lockland, Arlington Heights, Wyoming Meadows, Hilltop Acres, and Finneytown can order refreshments or adult beverages for the event from special menus through Wyoming restaurants Gabby’s, Station BBQ, Tela and Wyoming Community Coffee.

With a virtual format, you can be anywhere and participate! So, in addition to spreading the word about this fun evening with your neighbors, invite your out-of-town friends and family—the more the merrier, and it means more help for charities.
