Continuing a more than 80-year tradition, the wyoming firefighters association held their annual Firefighters' turkey raffle at the civic center on November 16th and 17th.
Initial numbers show that around $19,000 was raised in ticket sales and donations and 123 turkeys were raffled off, of which roughly 15 to 20 were donated to Valley Interfaith.
The money raised this year will go towards equipping the fire apparatus with needed tools and equipment.
