If you’ve missed going to the movies and making a night of it, here’s your big chance! The City of Wyoming and the Wyoming Recreation Foundation will host a “Drive-In Movie Night” on Saturday, June 27 at the Wyoming Rec Center. “Frozen II” will be shown on an outdoor screen, allowing the audience to observe social distance guidelines by remaining in their vehicles. Only 55 spaces are available, so interested parties should sign up through Eventbrite.

Of course, you can’t have a drive-in movie without refreshments, so Tela Bar + Kitchen will offer pre-ordered meals, including gourmet hot dogs, to be delivered to the Rec Center before the movie begins. Popcorn and Kona Ice desserts will be available for purchase as well. Restrooms will be open inside the Rec Center, and the turf field will be open for children to play.

While the event is free, Wyoming Recreation Foundation encourages donations toward the SHOP WYOMING campaign, to better support local businesses. Access Audio will match every donation.

Reserve one ticket per car. Parking will open at 7pm, with pre-ordered food from Tela delivered between 7 and 7:30pm. The movie begins at 7:30. For more details, visit the event’s Facebook page.
