Bring your whole crew and gather with friends for the first Movie on the Green night, happening June 26 at 7 p.m. on the Village Green.

The evening kicks off with live music in the gazebo from Mad Costanza, a relatively new ’80s party band. Once you’ve arrived and secured your spot on the Green, you can purchase food, sweet treats, and DORA drinks from nearby restaurants including Station Family + BBQ, Gabby’s Café, Pop-A-Dog, Cowboy Cones, or Kona Ice. At dusk, relax in your comfy chairs with your kids and enjoy the movie Scoob playing on the outdoor screen.

“We are so excited to be able to bring back events this summer,” says Rachel Leininger, director of recreation & citizen engagement for the City of Wyoming. “Movie on the Green will combine music, food, and movies for the entire family to enjoy safely outdoors in the heart of our downtown district.”

This event will also feature a pop-up booth for the Texas 4000, an organization supporting cancer research and support. Every year the nonprofit selects University of Texas students for an 18-month program where they raise funds, bike 2,000 miles with their team, volunteer in their community, and excel through leadership positions. A group of bikers will make a pit stop in Wyoming, sharing their story with our residents.
