The wants to give the a chance to meet and School Board candidates before the November election.

The organization is hosting Vote Wyo, a meet-and-greet event on Wednesday, Oct. 20 from 6–7 p.m. at the Civic Center. Residents can meet candidates, engage in civil discourse, and ask questions so they’re more informed before they vote.

“The board felt that providing our members and the with an occasion to meet candidates in person was important for informative, respectful, and open dialogue,” says Kate Wenning, JWC President.

At the event, which will take place outdoors on the back patio, candidates will be arranged in zones, with name tags and signs, so everyone can easily identify candidates with whom they’d like to speak. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside.
